Message from the President

The vision of Sterling Math and Science Foundation is to create a pathway to STEM education for underrepresented elementary students that engages and encourages their continued studies and careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.  Sterling Math and Science Foundation’s goal is to increase the number of third through fifth grade scholars to STEM who historically were not guided to this curriculum. 

During our 2020 retreat, we established three overarching strategic objectives: 1) increase awareness for the need to create STEM professionals, 2) spark student’s interest and participation in STEM education, and 3) create partnerships to expand educational opportunities through sponsorships and volunteerism.  We are fortunate to have financial donors that have supported us through the years.  We would not have been able to expand STEM education without every one of our donors – thank you.  As we work to expand our programming and partnerships, we are encouraged by the return of past donors and welcome new donors and volunteers.

I want to thank our partners at Nations Ford Elementary, Renaissance West STEAM Academy, and Sterling Elementary School for allowing us to work with your students.  Last, but not least, thanks to the dedicated Board members who are passionate about educating our children.
