Ruth Hood

With the help of educational support from teachers and financial support from Vulcan Materials, I launched a Math and Science Summer Enrichment Camp in 2007.Campers engaged in hands-on activities and interactive field trips to enhance their learning experiences. Guest speakers in  Math and Science careers were invited to help students understand how Math and Science are used in the business world.  BA-Ed degree from Johnson C. Smith University.  Married for 52 years to Bobby, one son Desmond, and two granddaughters, Danielle and Dominique.  Bobby and I cherished our family and loved spending time creating wonderful memories together. Loved a great game of pickleball, traveling, biking, walking, and visiting waterfalls.
